Rebecca began teaching Spanish to students in all communities at Nature‘s Way in 2007. for several years she has enjoyed following the children’s holistic development from the Toddler Community on up. As time progressed she discovered a special affinity for adolescents, prompting her to obtain her credential through the NAMTA/AMI Montessori Orientation to Adolescent Studies during the summer of 2014. Rebecca became the Lead Guide of the Adolescent Community in 2017, and currently guides Spanish and humanities courses for those students. Some of her favorite aspects of her job include sharing her passion for the Spanish language and all aspects of Hispanic culture, directing the annual theatrical production and actually getting to use everything she studied in college! Outside of school Rebecca is on the Board of Directors of HoLa Hora Latina and Theatre Knoxville Downtown, and is very active in the local theatre community.
