Admission

HHI_0361crop2.@Nature’s Way’s goal is to assure a good match between your family and the Montessori philosophy. To that end we have established the following
enrollment procedures:

INDICATE INTEREST: There are two ways you can let the school know you are interested in obtaining information. You may call the school and speak to Terri Needham, our office manager and admissions director, or complete the online application available on this website. See the bottom of this page for more information. Regardless of how you contact us, we are available to speak to you on the telephone and will answer any preliminary questions you might have about the school and its programs.

Next

SCHOOL VISITATION: The school will arrange a time that a parent/guardian can observe in the classroom your student is age appropriate for and orient you to the entire range of programs at Nature’s Way.

Next

CHILD VISITATION: If space is available in the classroom and your family chooses to continue the enrollment process after the adult/guardian school visitation, a time will be arranged for your child to visit the school. In our Toddler and Early Childhood Community classes, the parent will accompany the child for a half hour visit. In the Elementary and Adolescent Community classes, the child will visit without a parent for a pre-planned length of time.

Next

SCHOOL RECORDS: The families of elementary and adolescent community students will be asked to provide the school with any previous educational/school records.

Next

ENROLLMENT PAPERS: If, after both the parent/guardian and child visitations and previous school records of school age students have been received, everyone involved believes the placement will serve the best interests of the family, the child and the school, an enrollment contract will be offered.
